Atilla Kuzu is a name that you will find often on everybody’s lips in Turkey, when it comes to interior design. He founded Zoom / Tpu (Design Project and Implementation) with Levent Çırpıcı in 1994 and, that same year, he was the finalist with his design “Taklamakan” in the wooden furniture design competition organized by IFDA, Japan (Design with Love – Love with Wood).
That was only the start. He continued in excellence by winning multiple awards. In 2001, he got nominated for the prestigious Aga Han Architecture Awards with the Figen-Servet Yazıcı House project.
Turkey is known to be one of the five world leaders in health tourism, as more and more foreign patients come here to treat diseases. The fact that hospitals here give you the feeling of a hotel or spa, is a big part of their success. No wonder that big hospitals work with well-known interior designers, like Attila.
Between 2009-2011, he became a finalist in WAF awards with Maslak Acıbadem Hospital and Liv Ulus Hospital projects. In years 2010, 2011 and 2015 he was awarded first place by Yapı-Turkeybuild with his fair stand projects.
In 2010, he designed “Atilla Series” consisting of 6 products for Conde House. The same year, his “Open” series was awarded by Elle Decor International Awards for the Best Kitchen Design category. In 2011 he received the “Good Design” award with “Angle Table” for 888 Design and selected “Designer of the year” at Edida Awards by Elle Decor Turkey.
His adaptability and versatility in design are what make him a designer with an extraordinary vision. We can’t wait to see what his future project bring!
