Bouguessa should be a staple in every contemporary woman’s wardrobe. You might be familiar with the Dubai-based brand, as it exploded in popularity in 2017, when Beyonce confidently wore a Bouguessa velvet cape at the Saint Heron event in Los Angeles.

The minimalist ready-to-wear label was created by Faiza Bouguessa in 2014, from her studio in Dubai Design District. Since then, she has been blessing the industry with 3 stunning collections per year. Faiza focuses on clean cuts and intricate details, appealing to timeless and sophisticated women.

Faiza Bouguessa discovered her eye for fashion very early on, growing up close to her grandmother, a seamstress who taught her the basics of sewing fabrics and knighting. She dreamt since she was 12 about having her own clothing brand and now you can find her name on everybody’s lips. Faiza got into numerous internships in tailor shops while studying English literature at university. These experiences helped her find her style and creative approach while understanding fabric and pattern characteristics.

She decided that Bouguessa should be a garment label that values quality and timelessness. Her clothing pieces are made in her own ateliers, with incredibly strict standards and an eye for detail, so that they can be worn for several years and even grow more valuable with time. Sophistication comes with quality and simplicity.

The Bouguessa Fall/Winter 2022 Collection is a love story between sharp tailoring and feminine silhouettes. The outerwear collection features cozy and warm coats, while maintaining an elegant look and feel, with masculine shoulders, but feminine and dainty buttons. Wool and cashmere knits are here to warm you up in the chilly weather, a great add-on to your wardrobe classics with a contemporary twist.

This season sees the introduction of accessories to the collection, debuting the Ounassa handbag in two styles, regular and mini, both with function compartments and versatile wearability. Made in Italy, the soft leather and feminine shape conform to the brand’s sophisticated luxury.
