Ladies and gents, meet Glad Head and Aleksandr Sharygin, the creative leader of this hype Ukrainian agency that delighted influential design juries in Red Dot and Art Directors Club. In this time of war, when local clients workflow has stopped, #GladHead could pivot, team up and bring fresh perspective on the table to any first class international agency. THE BEST WAY THE INTERNATIONAL CREATIVE COMMUNITY CAN HELP ITS UKRAINIAN CREATIVE FELLOWS NOW?

Now it is hard for all of Ukraine and help is needed not only for creative community. We call for donations for our army, as it is now fighting an absolute evil that should not spread further and cover all of Europe. And with Ukrainian creative workers everything is simple: we lost our market and we need a job. We have many talented professionals who would be happy to meet new professional challenges. We will gladly show our talents to the whole world. Write to Ukrainian studios, start joint projects, your support is important to us.

ADVICE FOR INTERNATIONAL HEADHUNTERS, RELATED TO UKRAINIAN CREATIVES

Ukrainians are very freedom-loving people. And we appreciate Trust very much. And when the relationship with the client gives the designer freedom – it’s really a great result. And please don’t laugh at our accent.

UKRAINE SHOULD BE KNOWN FOR

In Ukraine there are many talented people, different people, different professions. But what is happening in Ukraine now is really unique. Kindness and sincerity of people, in this incredibly difficult time is really hard to describe. Ukrainians surprised themselves and will still surprise the whole world.

A UKRAINIAN CUSTOM REFLECTING THE BEAUTY OF YOUR CULTURE

Of course, it is a tradition to receive guests. The table must be breaking from food, drinks must flow like a river. Ukrainians love to cook, treat guests and, we wouldn’t hide, to eat. We are a very hospitable people.

One of the most difficult questions. We have a lot of good designers that the world should know about. I’ll tell you the first three who came to mind from different directions: the architect Sergey Mahno, the designer Yurko Gutsulyak, the fashion designer Ksenia Schnaider.

Now all our efforts are directed to help our country, we and our friends have created a volunteer project UNITED EXPERIENCE, which is engaged in the delivery of humanitarian aid. You can help us with the donations, and we can deliver even more food to needy families in war zones.
